This spot is the quintessential mom-and-pop eatery where the aroma of simmering broths envelops you as soon as you step through the door.

The highlight of Dung Gia's menu is undoubtedly their pho. With a price point that’s hard to beat—just $12 for a generous combination pho—you may find yourself questioning how a meal this delicious can be so affordable. Notably, Dung Gia offers a delightful chicken broth pho option, a rarity among pho establishments, and one that features a clean, rich broth accented by a hint of sweetness from delicately sliced onions. It’s the kind of dish you crave on a chilly day or after a night out on the town. Customer 'DK' perfectly sums up the experience with their enthusiasm for the “most generous pho,” making it a must-try for any pho aficionado.

In addition to the pho, the restaurant serves a variety of Vietnamese favorites, including spring rolls that have garnered praise for their freshness and flavor. A previous guest, Lauren Rivas, raved about their bouillabaisse soup, calling the broth exceptionally good—testament to the care that goes into every meal.

The atmosphere at Dung Gia is quite casual, embodying the essence of a local favorite. While some reviews express the need for minor improvements in the restaurant’s ambiance—such as tidiness or napkin availability—the heart of Dung Gia truly lies in its flavors and the warmth of its staff. Visitors often emphasize the kindness and attentiveness of the service, which makes your dining experience that much more enjoyable.

This is the most classic mom and pop store that serves the most generous pho. I really don't know any place where you can get a combination pho for 12 bucks. Also, there are very few pho places that serve with chicken broth, instead of beef. Here you get the cleanest broth, hint of sweetness from thinly sliced onions. This is the spot where I come when I have a hangover or want clear, white broth, or I dont want to be bothered with parking in viet, town, or city. There are times I crave beef broth pho, where it's more savory, beefy, and spice, then I go to different spots. Any other occasion, I come here. Their fried rice is kinda weak and small, and they haven't really tried main dishes. But their springroll and banh mi is solid, again great price. Highly recommend pho 38 and spring roll, pork banh mi. The appetizer picture in this post is #19, it was okay. Sometimes you get served by kids, sometimes parents etc. Not sure what these other reviewers want more from mom and pop store.

Good food & kind staff. I tried the Bouillabaisse soup and the broth was good. The spring rolls were yummy!

I got to visit Dung Gia Restaurant with my cousin. Have to say the quality is unlike anywhere else. So, let me get into it! The food, oh the broth of the pho is one of the best I have ever tried. And I have traveled and had home cooked pho. The quality of the food in my opinion is the best I have tried. The service was really good. The waitress really helped my cousin and I and even offered up recommendations. I like it when the staff at a restaurant offer up Rec’s as they are a hidden resources. Atmosphere or ambiance like I call it, it was very laid back and causal. And the decor really made the experience even more worth it. Overall, I would recommend DGR to anyone who wants a great bowl of Pho and an excellent broth.

Beef pho was flavorful and fresh. Bahm me had a good flavor but the bun was a bit soaky, I think it should be crisp baguette style. A place is a but run down. Wish they had napkins on the table.

We order take out from here often. We get the chicken pho which is always nice and hot. Not special, just solid Vietnamese food.
